ZERO customer service
Hilariously still haven’t gotten any kind of support from Altec. Really pathetic at this point.
Update*Still have had no contact from their support team, after more email correspondence, I was asked to wait 24-48 hours for a call, I waited roughly 56 hours and sent them another email. They have now just asked me to wait indefinitely for a phone call and still...
Update* I’m still emailing back and forth with them, (no phone call as of yet) but they did try to blame it on the functions of their own product, (saying that house party only works with products that have identical model numbers). This is in fact false, as per their...
Long story short, the house party function is not working between these speakers, I perform every audio device troubleshooting method I am aware of, followed by consulting the Altec Lansing Support website. Where it clearly states that this is a function that will work between both speakers and that they are compatible.
Then I made the mistake of trying to get a hold of Altecs support team. They have an email address you can contact on their website, but emailing them only results in them directing you to their corporate number. I called the corporate number and found out that I now have to leave a message with my name, number, products, and issue on hand.
I have now done this several times over the course of a week and have heard nothing back. Last time Ill ever purchase from Altec.

Online order not delivered
I received an order confirmation on Dec 4 in time for Christmas delivery. After two weeks I called to inquire about delivery status and was told they had no record of my order, even though I had an order confirmation.
I had to make several attempts to find out the status and finally tried to cancel the order. I had to send them a screenshot of my order confirmation, and then it took another 2 weeks to cancel the order but still no refund. Furthermore, I had to make several more attempts to get a refund.
Lousy customer service and agents are difficult to communicate with because of language barrier. I will never use this company again.
